Rookstool is a high end salon located in Dallas, Texas. The vision was to create an elegant and memorable icon that could be applied to products throughout the salon settings. A rook is a large crow-like bird which gave form to the identity. A rook’s coloring often reflects a shimmering black + blue sheen which informed the upholstery for the salon lounge chairs, and the moss, sage and juniper greens came from a rook’s natural surroundings.
